KukuaBiz is a company dedicated to connecting small businesses and solopreneurs around the world with remote, full-time talented professional employees from Kenya. In addition, KukuaBiz is dedicated to helping these professionals find fulfilling and rewarding work and continued professional development training.
KukuaBiz CEO Michael Sherlock hired her first two Kenya-based employees in 2019, for her company Shock Your Potential. Her global professional development training company was ready to scale, but finding affordable and qualified talent was a challenge. Finding her first 2 employees lead to the addition of 4 more within a matter of months. Soon her business began to grow, as did her belief in this treasure trove of talent in Kenya. Michael found her talent, by chance, from one of her clients. Based in Singapore, that client also had teams in Bangkok, Kenya and Nepal. And while meeting with that client in Singapore, she met the head of the Kenyan team, creating not only a friendship, but also the spark of an idea to find her own Kenyan talent.
As Michael’s team grew, people started asking how they could find their own Kenyan talent. And thus, KukuaBiz was born. Today KukuaBiz matches these professionals, whom we refer to as Talent, with clients around the globe.
